Position: Lead QA / Lead Blade Developer

Description: At Blue Orb, I worked on their newest project called SwitchBlade. SwitchBlade is a free software that brings a fully configured game controller experience to PC games. Users are able to download their favorite game profiles called "blades." These "blades" use actions generally utilized by the traditional keyboard and mouse and assigns them to Xbox360 and PS3 Controllers.

Duties: As QA Lead, I tested mitigation tools, software updates over multiple servers and versions, and the efficiency of the software over multiple operating systems. I also analyzed usability studies and user feedback.

As Lead Blade Developer, I designed and/or assisted in the building of "blades" for many of Switchblades' supported first person shooter profiles. I was also the Lead Developer on an upcoming unannounced MMORPG blade. As well as developing "blades," I researched and designed a new version of SwitchBlade aimed at a new market of gamers.
