“Nothing great in the world has ever been accomplished without passion.” - G.W.F. Hegel

As far back as I can remember, video games have always been a part of my life. One of my earliest memories is of my family playing Phantasy Star on the Sega Master System as we all sat around the TV offering our advice on how to get out of yet another cave. From my childhood on, my love for video games has grown into something more than just that of a “fan” status. Three years ago, I enrolled in a school that was introducing something new, something I had never heard of, a Game and Simulation Programming Degree. After my very first class, I knew that I had finally found where my heart was.
From that day forward, all of my energy has gone to satisfying the thirst of being a part of this "great gaming industry.” After a couple months of pre-planning, I held a meeting for what is now known as the Orlando Game Developers. The first meeting was held in the first week of March in 2006, with a large turnout of 35+ people. During that meeting we named officers, wrote a mission statement and the rest is history.

Two years, nine conferences, 50+ members, over $5000 raised, and countless projects later, I have poured much of my life into DeVry University as the President of the Orlando Game Developers with more opportunities offered to the OGD, and its members, than I could have ever imagined. My time as the President of the OGD was priceless as I learned many lessons in motivation, dedication, and management.

I received my first job three days after college graduation as I was offered an Associate Producer postion with Gorilla Systems Corporation. During my employment I was the producer on many projects. My first title, "The Clique: Diss and Make Up," for the Nintendo DS, was an amazing experience. I have had the honor of working with a team that has decades of combined experience and knowledge. Working for Gorilla has only further fueled my passion for games and I cannot wait to see what's next.
